Golf Club of Wentzville is seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team. Under new ownership, the clubhouse has been transformed and expanded, and the golf course irrigation system has been upgraded. We take pride in the condition of our course and are committed to providing an outstanding golf experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Superintendent with scheduling, managing, and supporting the maintenance crew. • Perform daily course setup, hand-watering of greens, chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation repairs, and staff training. • Monitor turf health and course conditions, including disease pressure, pests, irrigation concerns, playability, and overall presentation. • Help lead the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality daily operations. The Golf Pro Shop Host will greet and encourage purchases of merchandise in the Golf Retail Shop. This position will create an exciting atmosphere for our guests to be comfortable in their purchase selections. The Golf Pro Shop host will also assist the guest in making tee time reservations, lesson bookings, tournament procedures, etc. Essential Functions: • Provide exceptional guest service to all customers. • Show the customer around the store and inform them of the merchandise we stock • Be on the sales floor on time. • Your uniform is clean and pressed following all other guidelines of the employee handbook. • The associate is expected to do a walk through of the shop to reacquaint themselves with changes and arrival of new merchandise • Employees are expected to develop their product knowledge on a daily basis. • All breaks and lunchtime breaks must be coordinated with other employees and approved by a supervisor. • The phone must be answered properly • All guests must be greeted
