Provide daily maintenance and preparation of a local public golf course in St. Johns County under the supervision and direction of the Golf Course Superintendent. Responsibilities and Duties • Performs general grounds maintenance tasks using specialized golf course machinery: • Mow Greens, Tees, Fairways and Roughs. • Cleans and greases machinery after each use. • Reports machinery/equipment problems to immediate supervisor. • Edge, Trim and Rake Bunkers. -Change pins and move tee markers. • Operates aerators, seeders and spreaders. • Cleans and services water coolers on course. -Cleans and maintains restrooms. • Edges cart paths and sidewalks. • Trims trees and hedges and removes cuttings. • Repairs irrigation system. • Rakes leaves and removes debris. • Hand waters turfgrass when necessary. • Performs other maintenance related duties as assigned.
