The Golf Course Superintendent performs professional, supervisory and technical work overseeing operations and business functions at the Joseph M. Bartholomew, Sr. Municipal Golf Course. This position is responsible for managing golf course maintenance and agronomic operations and establishing maintenance standards to ensure optimal playing conditions. Responsibilities also include oversight of pro shop and inventory management, driving range operations, cart rentals, food and beverage operations, and special event support. Minimum Qualifications • 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university. • Three years of supervisory experience in golf course management or related recreational operations. • Additional qualifying supervisory experience may substitute for the required education at a rate of one year of experience for 30 semester hours. Preferred Qualification Certified Golf Course Superintendent through the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA)
