Florida State University - Grounds Department Responsibilities
Responsible for the management and direction of the Athletics Turf staff assigned to this position on a day to day basis in their support of the mission of the athletics department to provide world class facilities and fields.
Responsible for spraying, planning of spray program, including scheduling and communication of spraying times to associated parties across the entire Athletic Grounds property.
Responsible for assisting the Athletic Grounds Program Director with the planning, coordination and execution of annual and daily programming.
Provides guidance and direction to the staff involved in turfgrass services and programs including but not limited to assisting with field painting, infield dirt maintenance, and synthetic turf cleanup and care.
Work with coaches and other associated parties to schedule management practices that minimize conflict with scheduled games, practices, recruiting events, and ot
