Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Country Club in Silver Spring, Maryland is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:

The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Director of Greens & Grounds and share responsibility with our established Assistant Superintendent and Equipment Manager. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading small crews, performing hands-on maintenance work, and taking ownership of daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily golf course maintenance and preparation of the course for play
• Participate in pesticide and fertilizer applications, water management, and irrigation repair
• Operate and maintain golf course equipment and assist with equipment-related tasks as needed
• Lead and motivate hourly employees and small crews to complete daily assignments efficiently
• Assist with clubhouse grounds maintenance and property-wide landscape responsibilities
• Support budgeting, purchasing, inventor
