Pro Shop Attendant (Golf Course Attendant)

This part-time (20-25 hours per week) position is under the general supervision of the golf professional, and performs sales, and merchandising support. Work involves the selling of goods and services, collecting of fees, and other duties as assigned. Work is performed with some independence within established guidelines. Work consists of weekends/holidays and irregular shifts.

• Receive payment from customers for, green fees, cart rentals, merchandise, etc.
• Count funds, make change, and operate cash register.
• Maintain records, post and verify accounting transactions and reports.
• Answer questions and inquiries from the public.
• Maintain pro shop area and other custodial duties as required.
• Clean and stage golf carts when required.

Function, Knowledge & Abilities

• General knowledge of the game of golf, its rules, regulations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of City policies, procedures, rules and regulations relating to the golf course.
