POSITION SUMMARY: The Golf Shop Manager is responsible for leading the daily retail operations of the Club's golf shop, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for members and guests while driving sales, maintaining visual standards, and overseeing inventory execution. This role is heavily retail-focused and requires a strong background in retail management, merchandising, customer service, and team leadership. Working under the guidance of the Golf Buyer/Visual Merchandiser and Director of Golf, the Golf Shop Manager is responsible for executing merchandising initiatives, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising golf shop retail staff, and ensuring the golf shop reflects the high standards of a premier private country club. While knowledge of golf and private club operations is beneficial, success in this position is primarily driven by strong retail leadership experience and a passion for delivering exceptional member service.
