Overview

The Lead Assistant Golf Professional supports the Head Golf Professional in leading Colonie Golf & Country Club's daily golf operation. The role provides operational continuity, assists with tournament and league programming, develops staff, and helps deliver a consistent, exceptional member and guest experience.

Experience Required

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Professional Golf Management, business, recreation, or a related field preferred; equivalent golf-industry experience will be considered.
• Progressive responsibility and experience in a private-club or high-end golf operation preferred.
• Experience leading staff, administering tournaments, managing daily play, and communicating with members.
• PGA Member in good standing preferred; advanced PGA Associate working toward membership may be considered.
• Strong desire to advance into a Head Golf Professional role.
