Governors Club is calling all individuals with a true passion for the outdoors, grounds maintenance, and the game of golf to apply and join our team in Golf Course Maintenance. Golf Course Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position to aid the golf course maintenance team in small task related to mowing and course conditioning. Individuals should have the ability to operate primarily small equipment such as string trimmers, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, sand pro and utility vehicles. Based on their experience and quality of work these operators may be requested to learn to operate larger equipment. Job Duties And Responsibilities • Mow Fairways • Wood working • Painting • Irrigation repairs • Tree trimming • Operate small equipment • Walk mowing greens • Set golf course; cut cups, move tee markers • Hand raking and power raking bunkers • String trimming creeks and other parts of the course • Edging curbs • Help to complete various small projects such as sodding, tree removal
