POSITION OVERVIEW The Assistant Superintendent at Tradition Golf Club supervises all golf course maintenance activities and reports and works under the direction of the Director of Agronomy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: · Assist the Director of Agronomy in the maintenance of the golf course. · At the end of each day, a work status report of the crew’s activities will be completed. · Responsible for completing daily work schedule. To be completed every afternoon prior to the following workday. · Assist in planning and supervising the construction and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, cart paths, and landscape. · Instructs crew in the operation and care of golf course equipment. · Supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of water pumps used for irrigation and water circulation. · Monitors daily shop clean up assignments. · Assigns and monitors lunchroom clean up each day. · Assists in the implementation
